Due to the great success of our last Tri Buckle Improver Show series, and following numerous requests, GRAC will be again be running the Tri Buckle series this year.

We will be offering Buckles for the overall highpoint winner for each category; the categories are:- Improver Adult, Improver Youth, Intermediate Competitor (who could be an adult or youth). The buckles are being sponsored by Liz Keating - BIG THANK YOU TO LIZ!!!!!

The series will have a few alterations from last years events - this year we will be running a clinic prior to the series, our Clinician is Liz Keating of Lifestyle Performance Horses.

Clinic date is October 2nd.
Show dates 31st October, 14th November, 19th December.
Venue for all 4 dates is Aaron Park, Clyde.

We are currently finalising the clinic format, Series program and rules - they will be posted to the GRAC web site, included in the GRAC newsletter and also emailed to our contact list within a few days.

2010 - 2011 Membership is now due.... pay before 31st August and it's half price!!!

Appaloosa World Show 2010

A group trip is being planned for travel to the Appaloosa World Show in October 2010. Proposed dates of travel are departing Melbourne 20th October, departing Dallas 1st November.

As with previous trips, the tour will include some "non-horsey" shopping, plenty of horsey shopping (saddlery & clothing) as well as trips to historic Texas towns, a visit to a cattle & horse ranch, perhaps a trail ride through the hills, and of course MANY days watching the best the Appaloosa's the USA has on offer. It's a good chance to meet some of the best known breeders & trainers and see them in action, including Mark Shaffer!

Cost per person, includes accom in Dallas, ground transfers and shopping tours is around $1500AU. Airfares to/from Australia are not included as there are so many specials available.
