January 2008 Southern Circuit

THE VICTORIAN SOUTHERN CIRCUIT

Our day had dawned; the GRAC and PQHA were joining forces to ensure that the Southern Circuit was a success! The weather was warm, the flies disgusting, but as a part of this wonderful show we had a job to do and we were determined to do it well. The Halter competitors were extremely prompt, making for a swift transition to the performance events which was very well managed by our Judge Sue Carra and the team.
It was amazing to see the amount of Senior Youth that turned out, making the competition extremely tough and ensuring that the future of the Western Industry is in great hands. The Trail ran concurrently in Arena 2 and our judge Peter Bellden did a fantastic job of ensuring that all of the competitors got through as quickly and smoothly as possible.

With Prize Money on many events and the Youth and Amateurs receiving gifts it was a great day of showing. We would like take this opportunity to congratulate all winners and place getters and thank everyone involved in the show from workers to competitors for their assistance and dedication.
